Using WOWI Icons and Web Logos

Guidelines

The following guidelines are provided for the use of certain copyrighted materials, such as images, box shots, screenshots, and text; and for the use of certain trademarked materials, such as logos, marks, and icons. These materials are owned by World of Work, Inc. (“WOWI”) and provided under license. To use such materials, you must first agree to the following license terms:

1. The materials available for download on this site are subject to these license terms, as well as any specific guidelines on this site. If you download any materials from this site, you agree to be bound by these license terms as well as the specific guidelines related to the materials you wish to download.
2. You may not sell, alter, modify, license, sublicense, copy, or use the materials in any way other than has been specifically authorized by WOWI in the permissions and trademark guidelines described on this site.
3. You acknowledge that WOWI reserves the right to revoke the authorization to view, download, and print the materials available on this site at any time, and for any reason; and such authorization will be discontinued immediately upon the removal of these materials from the site.
4. You acknowledge that any rights granted to you constitute a license and not a transfer of title. You do not obtain any ownership right, title, or other interest in WOWI copyrighted materials or trademarks by downloading, copying, or otherwise using these materials.
5. WOWI IS NOT LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFIT OR FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON TORT (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY), CONTRACT, OR OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE GROUNDS EVEN IF WOWI HAS BEEN ADVISED OR HAD REASON TO KNOW OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
6. ANY MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS. WOWI SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, STATUTORY, OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES RELATING TO THESE MATERIALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE CONCERNING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF ANY THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS REGARDING THE MATERIALS.

Web logos and linking to WOWI’s website

As a Trainer certified by World of Work, Inc., you may like to display the WOWI logos on your website and other promotional materials to indicate your certification credentials.

Logo Guidelines

Approval to use our web logo requires our permission and that you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:

You may display the web logo only on your website and not in any other manner. It must always be an active link to wowi.com. The web logo must appear by itself, with a minimum spacing (the height of the web logo) between each side of the web logo and any other graphic or textual elements on your web page.

1. You may not alter the web logo in any manner, including size, proportions, colors, elements, and so forth, or animate, morph, or otherwise distort its perspective or appearance.
2. Your use may not be obscene or pornographic and may not be disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to WOWI, any of its products, or any other person or entity. You may not link to wowi.com from a website that is obscene or pornographic, or disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to WOWI or any of its products.
3. Your use may not directly or indirectly imply WOWI’s sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your product or service.
4. Your use may not infringe any WOWI intellectual property or other rights, may not violate any state or federal laws, and must comply with international IP laws.
5. You agree that you will not file a trademark application anywhere that is identical to, contains, or is confusingly similar to an WOWI trademark.
6. You may link to, but may not replicate, WOWI content.
7. You may not present false or misleading information about WOWI products or services.
8. Your reference to WOWI, its products, and its website must comply with the general trademark guidelines.
9. While you may use the web logo as provided by these guidelines, you may not use the WOWI corporate logo or any other WOWI logo or graphic to link to wowi.com.
10. These guidelines do not grant permission to use any other WOWI logos or trademarks. WOWI reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or modify your permission to display the web logo at any time.
