Brian is a clinical psychologist who provides career assessment and advising as part of his private practice. He has been a District School Counsellor in NSW and a Tertiary Counsellor at the University of Queensland. For a number of years Brian was the Director of the Department of Counselling and Health at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). During that time he was a founding member and later president of the Queensland Tertiary Studies Expo. He has also been president of the Australian and New Zealand Student Services Association. Brian studied for his doctoral degree at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
