Carolyn Cavanaugh-Toft, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist
Carolyn J. Cavanaugh Toft, Ph.D. graduated magna cum laude from Duke University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology with Honors. In 1996 she completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Arizona State University. She has taught in the Department of Psychology at ASU for over fifteen years. She worked with Dr. Gregory Neidert to integrate the use of the WOWI in the academic and career advising of undergraduate psychology majors at ASU. She has also led workshops on using the WOWI as part of career development strategies for doctoral students in ASU's Preparing Future Professionals Program and  has led workshops to train guidance counselors in the Phoenix Union High School District in the use of the WOWI to help high school students with career exploration.

Dr. Cavanaugh Toft is a licensed psychologist and maintains a clinical practice where she provides career counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families experiencing a broad range of difficulties.
